Strawberry Plants

Ever bearing strawberries fruit in spring and again in late summer or fall, however you may continuously pick fruit the whole summer by planting multiple plants. Ever bearing strawberry plants tend to fruit for a longer period than June bearing plants and produce less runners to direct energy into fruit production.
Contrarily to day length controlling flowering initiation, day neutral strawberries flower and fruit within appropriate temperatures, producing fruit well into mild autumns. If temperatures are too high, flowering slows and plants concentrate on runner formation.
