Collection: Honeycomb Uncapping Equipment

Honeycomb capping is a thin layer of beeswax that seals each cell in a honeycomb to prevent honey from drying out.
The thin layer of wax needs to be removed to allow honey to flow out of the individual cells.
You may use uncapping scratcher forks, heated knives or electric uncapping knives.
The capping beeswax is collected to make furniture polish, candles, cosmetics, soap, for food preservation, amongst other uses.
