Zinnia elegans: Oklahoma Ivory Zinnia is a highly productive, disease-resistant annual cultivator. It produces fluffy, medium-sized flowerheads with long but strong stems growing up to between 30–40" tall. Oklahoma Ivory has golden centres, lending its blooms a soft yellow blush when bunched in a bouquet. The Oklahoma series is prolific and consistently produces double and semi-double blooms with a long vase life, which is why they are a favourite of professional flower farmers. They thrive in hot weather and also has high resistance to powdery mildew. Sow indoors 4 weeks before the last frost or direct sow outdoors after frost risk has passed. Pinch the central stem when the plant is 8 to 12 inches tall to encourage dense branching and maximum flower yields.
Average seeds per gram: 201.
