Tangy Green® Columnar Apple

Tangy Green® is the European apple variety Goldlane developed by Dr. Jaroslav Tupy of the Czech Republic for the the Urban Apple® series, scab and mildew resistant varieties suited for limited space. Tangy Green® apples are tangy and refreshing, one of the best for salads as their firm, cream coloured flesh can be kept sliced for a long time before turning brown. The extra zesty flavour is ideal for pies and culinary endeavours. Tangy Green® apples grow on columnar apple trees and have a storage life close to 6 months.
Harvest in mid to late September.
Hardy down to zone 4.
