Nordex N169/5.X Wind Turbine

The Nordex N169/5.X variant, part of the Delta4000 series, is tailored for the U.S. market’s wind energy needs. With a rotor diameter of 169 meters and a power rating of up to 5.5 megawatts, it will deliver exceptional performance in low to medium wind speeds and low turbulence, and allows for the addressing of additional customer needs at grid constrained sites. To ensure maximum efficiency, a range of U.S.-optimized towers will be available.

Key components for the N169/5.X, such as nacelles, drive trains, and hubs, are manufactured locally in the U.S.

The N169/5.X uses the proven technical concepts of the Delta4000 series, such as the main shaft and bearing, the electric power system and generator frame of its sister model, the N163/5.X, which has already been tested in the field.

Transported, installed and serviced by Nordex, with a warranty of 25 to 30 years.
