Snow Sweet® Apple

Snow Sweet® is a premier apple for snack trays and salads, the sliced apples stay fresh looking and appetizing for hours. Released by the University of Minnesota in 2006, Snow Sweet® apple trees offer consistent croppings and above average resistance to scab and fireblight.

Flavor: Well balanced, sweet, buttery, rich flavour that retains a refreshing edge.
Fruit: Firm and crisp large apple with snowy white flesh that is exceptionally slow to oxidize when exposed to air.
Storage: Stores well.
Use: Superb for fresh eating due to their unique flavor and crisp texture and the sweet flavor and firm flesh is suitable for dishes where the apple shape and taste are desired to be preserved such as pie, tart and other dessert baking.
Hardiness: Zone 3.
Ripening: Harvest in early to mid October.
Pollination: Needs a pollenizer.
