The Giant Colchicum Corms

Colchicum flowers in late summer or autumn while the foliage appears later in the spring and disappear long before the blooms come out. Colchicum may be confused for crocus, the blooms look very similar but attention is needed, all species in the colchicum genus are toxic. You may differentiate them by their irregular corms compared to the flattened ball appearance of the crocus corm.
Great for naturalizing and mass landscaping.
Deer resistant.
Plant in full sun to part shade.
