Rubaiyat® Red Fleshed Apple

Rubaiyat® apple stands out with its bold red skin among the the seven red fleshed apple of the Rosetta™ series. Developed by the self taught fruit breeder Albert Etter who liked working with on red fleshed apples at his homestead in the mountains of northwestern California that went back to wilderness before being explored 20 years later by Ram Fishman of Greenmantle Nursery who selected seven superior varieties of red fleshed apples among the numerous ones he encountered for the Rosetta™ series. Ruby red from the outside to the core, this delightfully aromatic apple is intensely sweet with a tart, cherry berry flavour hint. Crisp, yet melting and juicy, Rubaiyat® is a fine dessert apple also suitable for culinary use.
