Citrus sunki is a popular, vigorous and small statured rootstock widely used in Brazil, China and Taiwan for its high tolerance to Citrus Tristeza virus CTV, xyloporosis, and is well suited for acidic soils. It produces upright, medium to small trees with excellent high quality fruit production. Sunkat is frequently used in breeding programs to improve citrus plant resistance to biotic and abiotic factors.
