Tillamook Short Day Strawberry

Tillamook is a high yielding, mid season strawberry cultivar bred by the USDA with very high fruit quality that is suited to both the fresh and processed markets. The ripe strawberries are visible in the canopy and are easy to pick. Tillamook strawberries are very large, attractive and firm with a very good fresh flavour. Tillamook strawberry plants are vigorous and hold up well into the second harvest season suggesting some virus tolerance. Tillamook is an excellent strawberry cultivar for local fresh markets, pick your own farms and for preserves, the fruits have excellent processing qualities.
