Regularly measuring and balancing the hydroponic cultivation fundamentals pH, electrical conductivity and temperature play a pivotal role in optimizing plant nutrient uptake, driving optimal plant health.
Conductivity indicates the total amount of dissolved nutrients available as ions in your solution. Potential hydrogen, pH shows how acidic or alkaline the solution is, which determines nutrient solubility and availability to roots thus root absorption ability. Temperature influences dissolved oxygen levels, nutrient solubility and plant growth rate and structural development.
This combined pH, electrical conductivity and temperature measuring device allows you to monitor the crucial parameters in any plant growing substrate in addition to nutrient solution reservoirs, run offs to be recirculated and the water supply.
