Cropking 540 Plants Continuous Flow NFT Hydroponic System Hardware and Pump

A nutrient film technique, NFT, hydroponic system contains channels where a shallow stream of water with dissolved nutrients continuously flows by the bare roots of plants. The upper surface of the channels is exposed to air so plenty oxygen surrounds the roots. An external reservoir allows easy collection of the nutritive solution for analysis and adjustments. A pump keeps the culture solution constantly recirculated through the entire system.

1. Test your water source and amend as necessary.
2. Dilute pre mixed concentrated liquid nutrients or make your own enriched water solution with individual soluble minerals or organic fertilizers. 
3. Fill the reservoir with the prepared culture solution.
4. Turn on the pump.
5. Place starter plants in rockwool cubes or suspend freely into solution.
6. Harvest when your plants reach a desirable size with intermittent solution tests and top ups in the growing interval to keep up with nutrient depletion and evaporation.
7. Start another cultivation cycle by sowing your own seeds in the available germination space.
