Use the 4 x 10 bee smoker to puff cool smoke at the entrance of the beehive, at the top of the frames and onto the honeycomb to distract honey bees while you check the hive frames for stored honey, pollen and egg laying pattern to monitor the health of the colony and strength of the queen.

Solid fuel is burnt slowly with restricted oxygen amounts in the beekeeping smokepot and produces smoke as air streams inside when the bellows is squeezed. The smoke pumped onto the beehive masks the pheromones produced by the honeybees when they are disturbed to allow them to leave you to your beekeeper duties.
