Lapins Sweet Cherry

The Van x Stella cherry cross from British Columbia has largely replaced Bing cherry in the very North of the American Continent but ripens two weeks later. The solid, dependable Lapins, or Cherokee, cherry trees with winter hardiness second to none, yield unique, large dark mahogany red cherries that are highly split resistant with a rich, full flavour. Lapin is also a great pollenizer for other cherry varieties.

Ripening: Harvest in late July to early August.
Pollination: Self fertile.
