Imperial Star Organic Artichoke

These tall, hardy plants produce seven to eight highly uniform, nearly spineless buds in the first growing season. The buds are sweet and tender, making them a terrific mid-summer treat. Imperial Star Organic artichoke seeds are ideal for home gardeners and open field production. Plants grow 90-120cm (36-48") tall and mature in 85-90 days. This variety is easier to harvest in the first season than many other artichoke varieties, and it's also perennial, producing for several years to come. Open-pollinated seed.
