Syringa x hyacinthiflora 'Purple Glory' starts flowering at a young age, and blooms a full 2 weeks before French hybrid lilacs. A prolific bloomer, producing large, fragrant deep purple flowers that make for excellent cut flowers. The dense green foliage turns into a unique shade of burgundy in autumn.
