Trigonella foenum-graecum, commonly known as methi, is a pungent herb treasured across Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and South Asian kitchens. Use fresh or dried leaves as a culinary herb, or harvest seeds as a distinctive spice. The plant also produces flavorful sprouts and micro-greens with bold, complex flavor. As a legume relative of fava beans, fenugreek naturally fixes nitrogen in soil when grown to maturity, enriching your garden. Pale yellow and white flowers develop into straw-colored pods containing mature seeds. Plants grow to approximately 60cm (24") tall, making them suitable for garden beds or containers. Versatile, nutrient-rich, and easy to cultivate, fenugreek adds depth to your culinary and gardening pursuits.
